I perform songs that people want to hear, mostly from the 60’s and 70’s when so much wonderful music was written. I also love to do folks songs from any era. I perform some Beatles, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash songs and others. I perform a wide variety of music.
As a teenager, I bought a used piano and taught myself how to play. The music I played on the piano put a light on for me and brought me out of the unhappy teenage years. Music has always been a therapy for me.
I spent the next few decades doing software engineering, but found it was not really what I wanted to do in life and not my calling, so to speak.
I started playing guitar and singing several years ago. Again this time a light went on for me. Once I picked up the guitar and started singing, I never stopped. I found what I was meant to do in life. A few years later, I enrolled at MacPhail Center for Music where I am currently a student.
I perform at all kinds of places and venues just for the sake of music and the enjoyment of it, but I especially love to share music as a therapy with residents of nursing and assisted living homes. I love to put a smile on their faces.
With music, I have found what I was meant to do in life and I love every minute of it.
